- required. Used for – When crimping an RJ45 connector onto a CAT5e/CAT6 cable, our RJ45 strain
- relief boots are used not only to prevent release tabs from being snagged or snapped
- off your RJ45 connectors, but they also provide strain relief for your
- freshly crimped cables (allowing them to be bent in a multitude of directions
- without causing damage).
- Our cable boots can also be used to colour code cables, perfect for
- multiple cable installs when identifying individual cables can be difficult. Available

- Installation – Before crimping an RJ45 connector onto the end of your chosen
- cable, simply slide a cable strain relief boot over down the cable. This can
- then be pushed back up to RJ45 connector after the connector has been crimped
- onto the cable.
